Everett Konakai Kaiama, 86, of Waimea died April 16 at home. Born in Lahaina, Maui, he was a retired foreman and heavy equipment operator for Hawaiian Dredging Co., Kiewit Construction and Morrison Knudsen Construction, cattle rancher, member of Imiola Congregational Church and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (June 4) at Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea. Celebration of life will at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Elizabeth P. David Ray Loeding, of Keaau died May 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Minnesota, he was a statistician, teacher at Korean University of Foreign Studies, registrar at Hawaii Community College and former Peace Corps Volunteer in Kona.
